I got a lb of brisket and fries. Brisket was trash, maybe boiled or baked, not smoked rubbery and fatty expensive the fries were ok. Won’t go back

I loved this place! I tried the pick three meats with sides. The hot links were great and the BBQ sauce was delicious! I recommend you try the spicy BBQ sauce. The service was very friendly and efficient. This is a very small location don't blink you might miss it but so worth the stop!

It's a little hole-in-the-wall place, but it's really nice. Small seating, but does to-go orders. I'd definitely make this a go to spot when I'm near Carlsbad.

Prices are outrageous, food is sub-par at best, and the portions are tiny. The place looks dirty inside and out, and the workers are rude and unhelpful. I would strongly suggest NOT eating here. It is a mistake that I certainly will never make again.

Nice little place.I ordered the grilled tilapia and it was very good, as was the fried okra.The cashier was nice and friendly.It is a little pricey, but it wouldn't be as bad if they had fountain drinks, or at the very least some fresh brewed tea. As it is, the only drinks are bottled drinks, so no refills (which makes the overall price a little harder to swallow), and no fresh brewed sweet tea like you might expect from a barbecue place.All in all it was very good, but the drink situation did take a star away from my review.

A Legit BBQ joint in Carlsbad! Ordered the 3 meat plate, drove across town, checked in to my room and the meat was still off-the-pit Hot!The brisket was lean and tender and the Sauce was great. They were super busy at closing time and the young lady making the orders was hustling and got my order perfect!

I'm from West Texas, where great BBQ is hard to find even there. This. Is. The. Best. BBQ. I've had. In YEARS. 5/5 stars. Will be coming back. The very very best. Small dining area, so if you go with a big party (which I recommend: bring everyone you know to this place), just be aware :)

Quaint friendly environment. Had the Delicious brisket sandwich and fries. Best in town. Way better then the overpriced fancy place down the street. The daughter was very friendly and has dazzling green eyes. Will be back soon.

Went here with a friend. Its ok to say the least. had brisket alot of fat and grease not so much smokey flavor. Mac n cheese was plain, Also some real dry peices with. Id recommend smoking meat overnights.. in any event i wont be returning..

The BEST in NM! Great food, great service, great business! I have NO PROBLEM driving from Las Cruces to Carlsbad (OR ANY EVENT THEY ARE SET UP AT) to have some of this great food! You can't go wrong with ANYTHING from the menu! Keep up the excellent job!

Feeling super disappointed we Ordered over $100 worth of food for our family. We Got a large macaroni and cheese and 4 extra corn cobs all of which were extremely cold. There were 2, 3 entree plates ordered with ribs, pulled pork, and beef brisket. The top of the meet was pretty good but underneath there was a lot of fat and very dry pieces. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

Good tasting bbq here. Pricing on par with most other bbq restaurants. Really like the outdoor patio that blocks the hustle bustle so you can take in some good bbq and some music.

Paid top dollar for a rack of ribs...dont know if they were pork beef.or ????....they werent meat falling off the bone but my teeth falling off...chewy and full of fat...was so disgusted...very disappointed

This place is excellent!! Everything we had was scrumptious! The barbecue sauce had excellent flavor. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The coleslaw was delicious and the okra was the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend this place.

The brisket plate and sandwiches were really good. The fries also, they were spicy and very flavorful. My wife especially liked the BBQ sauce because it was not to sweet.

The food is so good no one else in Carlsbad has the flavor this food has I am never disappointed is a matter of fact I absolutely love this place the staff make me feel like I am home it's that comfortable it's just awesome
